Like in this story. What kind of multi-millionaire would just give up on something so important to him instead of talking to other professionals to get different suggestions? I would guess a soon to be poor dumb one. So, instead of doing the logical thing his problem is solved by a gardener.

Which made that part too drawn out and ludicrous. And finally, the scene in the hotel really bothered me. Not what happened because she allowed itbut the fact that he had no clue who it was. Which makes that reek of cheating to me, and I detest reading about cheaters.

I did like that the author tried to make the h strong. The annoying bits in each story start to accumulate and make me dislike them all, which is not fair because they can be entertaining. To me, this book was not worth the hefty Dating a saint donna mcdonald. I will say that if these were available through kindle unlimited I would continue reading, but only because I like the characters.

While I really like this series about ladies over 40 I could identify with Lauren somewhat I didn't care for the part where she attacked Jim physically with martial arts. We are taught this for self defense- never to attack; Jim's life was difficult enough risking serious injury. I could understand her frustration because she was unaware of his wife's medical condition and he felt guilty about his feelings for Lauren.

She could've handled it differently since she knows he is basically a good man to force him to step up. More interaction with the ex and Lydia trying to derail their relationship could've been added sooner. Lauren risked her unborn child when she attacked the ex. However I love the tight friendship with the other notorious ladies.

However, I have to look at Cannolis in a different light now-thanks Donna!! As I expected, another great story by D. This is one of 3 friends, all over 40 so the heroes are as well. I like the older crowd. They have issues but they are not as silly as some of the younger characters. This story is about a divorced 43 yr. Only thing, he is married.

No one has ever seen his wife or knows the story behind his life. She has decided she wants him anyway. He teases her but lets her know he will never divorce his wife or offer her anything of a future. You are rooting for both of Dating a saint donna mcdonald as they work their way thru the issues.

Of course, it has a HEA. I loved the book and all the characters.

The three friends made interesting, fun reading. I needed a good fun read and knew McDonald could give me that. I really enjoyed this series. I am just in love with this series of books. The characters are real and the writing is spot on. This series does a great job of showing how we all need and want love no matter our age or size.

Our main character in this book, Lauren is a divorced woman who was cheated on terribly by her first husband.

Read "Dating A Saint Book...

Her response to that was to simply shut down romantically. She takes any physical urges she might have in her own hands so to speak and remains celebate for 8 years. The only man that makes her feel anything Add on a over bearing, rude, judgemental mother and two 'notorious' girlfriends and you have the makings of a great story.

I would recommend this book and I could find nothing to critique.

I'm already reading the next one. Lauren may be a Saint but so is Jim! I am loving this Never to Late series of romantic comedies that focus on those over I Dating a saint donna mcdonald the plots, characters, and challenges in each book have their own twist but totally build on the other.

The close friendship of the women is something to be envied. Totally shocked to find out the mystery behind Jim's "wife" and glad Lauren understood the true depth of his personality. Onto Book 4 because I cannot resist. The story line about Jim and his wife really very touching and really humanized this story. I just wish Jim would have gotten over his moral dilemma sooner so him and Lauren could have gotten together quicker, but it all worked out in the end.

I wouldnt mind reading more about these two as they Dating a saint donna mcdonald their family. If you haven't read th 1st two books in the series definitely read them first because these books easily flow into eachother which is refreshing and how a series should work. This book is a keeper. I know it's an HEA but I sure wasn't sure while reading a couple of times.

This twists and turns this book made were Having the previous two books characters involved added spice and a great feeling of camaraderie between the couples. It's a worthwhile read and a 'BUY'.
